Although not regulated by the EPA, proper disposal of pigeon guano can be difficult. An extremely difficult waste to handle, as found in towers, steeples, walkways and bridge girders pigeon and bat guano excrement can be a health hazard. Dried excrement becomes friable and organisms can travel as airborne contaminants.
Pigeon guano also creates fungal concerns as bird carcasses and bird parts are considered infectious waste and incineration is required.
In either case, the proper packaging and disposal of pigeon guano is a specialty at Pro-Teck. We’re so comfortable with this stuff, we listed is as a specialty on our “hold” music. Go Figure! |
